Adiyogi the shiva statue is situated in Coimbatore,Tamil nadu. Suddenly we planned to travel to Coimbatore to visit adiyogi Shiva Statue . So we planned on the very day 21st feb, 20. As soon as possible we booked the bus tickets to Coimbatore . So Bangalore to Coimbatore distance is 364.6km takes time approx 6 hrs 30mins. We reached Coimbatore next morning then took some nearby hotels. As it was a sudden plan so we didn’t booked hotel before and it was a one day trip. Anyway we checked in, got freshen up, have our lunch. Then book a cab to Isha yoga center. Because, Adiyogi is situated there. Then finally we reached our divine destination. It took approx 2hrs to reach there. So if you worried about coming back from, like you will get cab or not. Then don’t worry, you will get easily.


The adiyogi statue is 34m tall(112 ft) it is a steel statue of Lord Shiva at Coimbatore. It is designed by our well known inspiration Sadhguru jaggi vasudev and inaugurated by our Pm Narendra Modi on Maha shivratri in 24th Feb,2017. It is also recognized as a largest sculpture in guinness world records. The adiyogi statue symbolizes the 112 possibilities to attain Moksha and Chakras in human system. In name of our diety Lord Shiva adiyogi book and song by kailash kher also have been released.

Adiyogi means The first yogi. The beautiful sculpture of Lord Shiva in the velliangri mountain reach the peak of crowd of devotees on Maha shivratri. Maha shivratri one of the largest and most significant festival celebrate by Indians. People comes from different places for mahashivratri sadhana . In name of Lord in maha shivratri whole night people celebrate .light show, musicical performances, meditation, dance, nightlong satsang with sadhguru and so many more. I enjoyed alot as a devotee of Lord Shiva. It gave me peace. One must visit once especially on Shivratri. Meditate and calm all your chakras and attain inner peace. Then that night we go into the bus and headed back to Bangalore.
